Restore Receiver As Sender

A maskwire tool to always restore the original receiver of a message as the sender when replying on it

What does this do?

Assume you have email addresses that you use for specific services, for example [email protected], or Fastmails Masked Emails.

If you receive an email onto this address and hit "reply", maskwire will rewrite the sender that is used to send the message back to "[email protected]"

The result is, that all messages will be sent from whatever received them in the first place.

What does this do exactly?

Maskwire will inject a custom "Reply-to" header into the message, that is the long reply-to address that starts with a "🎭" emoji

When hitting reply, your email (should) draft a new message to the reply-to address which is the maskwire injected one. Sending an email to this address is telling maskwire that you want to restore the original receiver of this email back as sender.
